Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary Preparation Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Preparing, serving, and maintaining food and beverage items.
  • Taking customer orders and receiving deliveries from vendors.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of food items.
  • Executing tasks efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction.

Your role will also involve:

  • Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Following recipes and practicing portion control for food preparation.
  • Maintaining a well-organized kitchen and work station.
  • Properly handling, storing, and rotating all food products.
  • Completing daily prep sheets and checklists as required.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
  • Managing stock levels and ensuring quality of perishable items.
  • Communicating any product shortages to management promptly.
  • Performing general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards.

At the end of your shift, you will:

  • Return all items to their designated places and ensure all work areas are clean and organized.
  • Meet with the manager to discuss shift performance and completion of duties.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a food service environment.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate in English.
  • Experience in customer service and problem-solving.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations.
  • A valid food handler's permit as required by law.
  • Brand certification as necessary.
  • The ability to remember and promote various menu items.
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems.
  • The capability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
