Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to lead our efforts in expanding our drug delivery services. As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan to drive growth and revenue in the North American market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a viable business development strategy to target and qualify new customer opportunities in the North American region for drug packaging and combination product solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
  • Lead negotiations and contract development with clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and related institutions.
  • Actively progress the pipeline of opportunities to ensure individual and relevant OU financial objectives (revenue, margin) are fully met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical engineering or business/marketing discipline, MBA preferred.
  • Proven industry track record in sales and/or marketing, with 15+ years of hands-on experience in developing new business opportunities in the drug delivery and combination product space.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to operate with significant autonomy, must be a self-starter and an independent decision maker.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within the required timeline.
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills to foster collaboration and success in a matrix, global environment.
