Job Summary and Qualifications
Medical Telemetry nurses are responsible for assessing acute changes in patients' conditions. They monitor and interpret heart rhythms, analyze ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond to emergencies. This role requires high-level critical thinking skills, extensive clinical knowledge, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

About the Unit:
  • 36 Bed Unit with a Nurse to Patient Ratio of 1:6
  • Diverse patient acuity including medical, surgical, neuro, pulmonary, renal, and infectious cases.

Qualifications Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • BLS certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.
  • ACLS certification required within six months.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
