Job Summary and Qualifications

Telemetry nurses are responsible for assessing acute changes in patient conditions. They monitor and interpret heart rhythms, analyze ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond to emergencies. These professionals possess advanced critical thinking skills, extensive clinical knowledge, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

About the Unit:

· 36 Bed Unit; Nurse to Patient Ratio of 1:6.

· Diverse patient acuity, including medical, surgical, neuro, pulmonary, renal, and infectious cases.

· A challenging yet rewarding environment with a strong culture of teamwork.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Previous clinical experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
