Role Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Growth is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the Credit Union's branding efforts. This role involves the development, management, and execution of marketing and business development initiatives aimed at enhancing member engagement and supporting growth objectives. The position oversees the Marketing and Business Development teams and operates under the guidance of the Senior Vice President/Chief Lending & Growth Officer, requiring minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulates and implements comprehensive brand equity, membership growth, marketing, and communication strategies that align with the Credit Union's mission and strategic objectives.
  2. Designs and executes digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and online advertising strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and conversion rates. Ensures uniform messaging across internal and external platforms, including collateral design, promotional campaigns, and advertising across various media.
  3. Leads the organization's social media initiatives, ensuring a vibrant and engaging presence on relevant platforms to foster brand loyalty and member interaction.
  4. Prepares and manages the marketing budget, executing the annual marketing and business development strategy in line with the Credit Union's Strategic Plan and growth aspirations.
  5. Oversees the Credit Union's website and messaging across all member-facing platforms (including online and mobile banking) to maximize engagement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  6. Manages the branding and marketing image of branches and facilities.
  7. Guides the community business development team in expanding the Credit Union's Select Employer Groups (SEG) and enhancing community and local business engagement.
  8. Utilizes data analytics to inform business strategies, evaluating marketing campaign performance against key performance indicators such as ROI, conversion rates, and member acquisition costs.
  9. Conducts market research and surveys to gain insights into member preferences and experiences, leveraging data to personalize member interactions and improve retention strategies.
  10. Oversees community engagement initiatives (Sikorsky Cares) and represents the Credit Union at various community events.
  11. Leads, develops, and retains the Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure alignment with the Credit Union's strategic goals and service expectations.
  12. Assesses departmental staffing needs and ensures timely completion of employee performance evaluations, including goal setting and constructive feedback.
  13. Fosters a positive workplace culture by recognizing high performers and communicating in a manner that reflects professional standards and the Credit Union's core values.
  14. Stays informed about industry trends, including regulatory changes and technological advancements.
  15. Ensures compliance with company policies and banking regulations.
  16. Performs additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is required.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services sector is preferred, with at least 3 years in digital or mobile platforms.
  3. At least 3 years of management experience is required.
  4. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on teamwork and project management.
  5. In-depth knowledge of contemporary marketing practices, customer experience, and brand management, with the ability to translate research into actionable strategies.
  6. Highly organized, innovative, and strategic thinker with a collaborative approach across the organization.
  7. Results-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working independently with strong analytical skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
