Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at our Willowbrook location in Houston, Texas. As a Senior Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians and clinicians with patient care duties, promoting efficient patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Patient Care Duties: Assist physicians and clinicians with exams and procedures, escort patients to and from exam rooms, and maintain accurate records of patient data.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform clinic support tasks, including clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules.
- Compliance: Adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent; certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant; current CPR Certification required.
- Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
