Medical Records Manager Leader

We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Records Manager Leader to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center. As a key member of our HIM department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Operations staff and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of medical records. With a strong background in Health Information Management and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an acute care setting, you will be well-positioned to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Promotes a culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identification, proper reporting, documentation, and prevention of medical errors in a non-punitive environment.
  • Supportive of the compliance program set forth by St Joseph Medical Center and demonstrated by upholding the St Joseph Medical Standards of Conduct and Corporate Compliance.
  • Adheres to dealing appropriately and fairly with employee misconduct and enforces all compliance policies as they pertain to his/her area.

Requirements:

  • MUST have a minimum of 3-5 years Health Information Management experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Must have at least 1 year of HIM management experience.
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum based on location and experience. Please note that this is an estimate and actual salary may vary.
