Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Support Specialist to join our team at Safe Harbor. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day needs of our clients are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Intake and Support: Receive and process intake calls from clients, facilitate new clients through intake procedures, and ensure their basic needs are met.
  • Documentation and Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation and database records.
  • Shelter Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming shelter environment, perform household contributions as needed, and assist in planning and executing client events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the shelter team to ensure a trauma-informed and supportive environment for clients.
  • Professional Development: Maintain annual victim service provider hours, attend training, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; maturity, flexibility, and interpersonal skills necessary to work in a crisis-oriented environment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be physically capable to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, and perform all tasks related to this position.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual skills preferred, with consideration for additional compensation.
