The YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Building Supervisor/Membership Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the general safety and security of the building, as well as providing exceptional customer service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Perform walkthroughs of the building to identify potential safety hazards and take corrective action
- Complete facility closing reports and ensure that all areas of the building are secure
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, including answering questions and resolving issues
- Assist with membership sales and promotions, including giving tours and providing information about programs and services
- Work closely with the Membership Director to develop and implement strategies to improve member engagement and retention
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of previous customer service experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- College degree with emphasis in Marketing or Communications
- Previous experience in a membership-based organization
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- A competitive hourly rate
