We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Gable Search Group. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing fire protection systems for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fire protection systems, including wet, dry, preaction, and deluge sprinkler systems, foam, water spray, clean agent, wet and dry chemical, and clean agent fire suppression systems.
  • Lead the production of construction drawings using AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Microstation, Smart Plant, PDS, and Revit.
  • Prepare and present technical reports for clients, including fire protection packages, related calculations, and specifications.
  • Provide quality review and oversight of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and life safety codes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Train, mentor, and develop less experienced fire protection team members.
  • Apply sound fire protection engineering principles to troubleshoot and solve client-related problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Technology or related field and 7 years of related experience; an Associate's Degree in a related field with 11 years of related experience; or 12 years of related experience.
  • NICET Level III certification in Water-Based System Layout, Fire Alarm Systems, or Special Hazard Systems within one year of employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access authorization to facilities and data of existing and potential clients.
  • Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, FM Global datasheets, military standards, and refinery/industrial API guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:

The expected compensation range for this position is $145,000 - $200,000, based on individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and work location.

The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
