Job Title: Fire Protection and Plumbing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection and Plumbing Engineer to join our team at Pkaza LLC. As a key member of our MEP engineering design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing and fire protection systems for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for data centers, trade floors, labs, control rooms, and other mission-critical facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines to achieve successful, functional, and innovative designs for our clients.
  • Interact with other building disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
  • Perform field surveys to document existing conditions and/or observe construction activities.
  • Develop and document plumbing and fire protection drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in the continued development and updating of standards and specifications for the plumbing and fire protection.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, or Plumbing engineering.
  • Previous experience at an engineering consulting MEP firm is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing design and fire protection systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge in fire protection and plumbing.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • A sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Strong computer skills and skilled in software typically used in plumbing/fire protection design.
  • Strong working knowledge of building, plumbing, and fire codes.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent written and verbal.
  • Revit experience is a must.
