Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement network architecture to support real-time system applications

Troubleshoot network issues and make recommendations for system enhancements

Assist with the design and implementation of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls

Perform updates, patching, and baseline changes to adhere to Information Security requirements, policies, and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on network configuration and management

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly security clearance

DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 24x7 operational systems

Familiarity with CISCO Spine-Leaf network topology/architecture

Experience with network protocols, such as TCP/IP, Multicast, and UDP
