Job Summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, and automated analyzers.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results, and to develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Three years of experience as a Medical Technologist, with a strong background in laboratory procedures and instrumentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of laboratory information systems and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
