Spa Therapist

The Spa Esthetician is responsible for providing exceptional skin care services and treatments to our guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

• Provide massage and body services that meet the established guidelines and fulfill guest expectations.
• Assess contraindications of guests that may prevent services from taking place.
• Meet the needs of guests throughout the service.
• Understand and use universal precautions when providing services.
• Clean and disinfect all equipment.
• Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and have complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered.
• Recommend products for home use.
• Suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• Ensure that work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
• Inform management personnel about product needs.
• Create and maintain client cards and treatment notes, when appropriate.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid state license in massage therapy or other credentials required by the state.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous spa experience preferred.
• Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments a plus.
• Previous massage and body work experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Must be able to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to explain various treatments/services to guests.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
• Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
• Strong team player.
