Position Overview:
As a Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and marketing initiatives for our innovative electronic products. This position requires proficiency in Japanese and involves collaboration with various teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Sales and Marketing Execution:**
- Manage sales activities for advanced specialty materials and electronic products across North America, with some focus on China and Europe.
- Develop and oversee the sales budget, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Engage in negotiations with customers, distributors, and agents to establish favorable commercial terms.

2. **Account Management:**
- Maintain relationships with key accounts while seeking opportunities to expand into new projects.
- Identify and promote both existing and new products to potential customers.

3. **Inventory Oversight:**
- Monitor and manage consignment inventory, ensuring alignment with company standards.

4. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Lead internal teams to address commercial, technical, legal, financial, and logistical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with teams in Japan and Singapore to ensure alignment and support.

5. **Travel and Market Research:**
- Travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers and attend trade shows, approximately 30-50% of the time.
- Conduct market research to inform sales strategies and product development.

Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship building.
- Flexibility to accommodate meetings across different time zones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Must be fluent in Japanese.

Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Work Environment:
- This position is classified as outside sales, requiring frequent customer visits.
