Position Overview

Job Summary:

The Division of Information Technology at The Tatitlek Corporation is dedicated to delivering comprehensive technical support and solutions to ensure optimal functionality of our IT infrastructure. Our team addresses a wide array of IT challenges, encompassing hardware and software troubleshooting, network setups, and cybersecurity measures. Our mission is to maintain seamless IT operations, enabling business units to concentrate on achieving their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End User Device Assistance:
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops and mobile devices.
    • Provide support for software installations, updates, and configurations.
    • Identify and rectify hardware and software problems.
  • User Account Administration:
    • Oversee user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD.
    • Manage password resets, account unlocks, and new account setups.
    • Ensure appropriate configuration and maintenance of user access rights.
  • Email System Management:
    • Administer and troubleshoot email accounts within Microsoft O365.
    • Assist with email setup, synchronization, and problem resolution.
  • New User Onboarding:
    • Establish new user accounts, including email and access permissions.
    • Provide orientation and basic training on IT systems and tools.
  • Backup System Oversight:
    • Monitor and manage backup systems to ensure data integrity and recovery.
    • Regularly test and verify backups for effectiveness.
  • Incident Management:
    • Utilize a ticketing system for logging, tracking, and resolving user-reported issues.
    • Respond to incidents promptly, prioritizing based on severity and escalating as needed.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and uphold cybersecurity policies and protocols.
    • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Create and update documentation for common issues, solutions, and procedures.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for end users.
  • Vendor Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison with hardware and software vendors for support and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate reports on help desk performance, incident trends, and user satisfaction.
  • Proactive Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine health checks and preventive maintenance on user devices and systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (Preferred)
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Five (5) years of experience in Information Technology and Support
  • Successful completion of a Pre-employment Checks and Inquiries (PECI) background check
