In this role, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring they are cut, sliced, and peeled to uphold the quality of our esteemed Cold Choice Buffet.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Prepares all food items according to Golden Corral's product guidelines and recipes.
  • Oversees inventory of standard prep items based on the Prep Production Guide, making updates as directed by management.
  • Maximizes product yield throughout the lifecycle of the items.
  • Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items efficiently.
  • Stores all food products in approved, covered containers to maintain freshness.
  • Diligently utilizes the buffet production system to ensure quality and compliance with shelf life standards.
  • Communicates any discrepancies to management promptly, including issues like food spoilage or invoice inaccuracies.
  • Assists the Buffet Attendant in keeping the buffet well-stocked and clean.

Sanitation Standards:

  • Cleans, organizes, and maintains the preparation area, including coolers, equipment, and dry storage.
  • Follows a duty roster to ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Adheres to responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery of food items.
  • Complies with local health department regulations.

Customer Engagement:

  • Provides assistance to guests during meal times and manages related administrative tasks.
