Job Description

Modern Government Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Agent to work across the purchasing and inventory departments. The ideal candidate will generate purchase order requests, evaluate and coordinate with suppliers, and manage stock as it arrives at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase order requests based on Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Evaluate and coordinate with suppliers considering price, lead time, quality, and other criteria.
  • Manage stock as it arrives at the facility through the appropriate receiving process.
  • Complete incoming inspection of all received parts and materials.
  • Pull items from stock based on BOMs for assemblies as they are released for production.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience in inventory management.
  • Experience working with microprocessor, radar, radio frequency, and/or circuit board electronics, electronic components, and similar technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
