Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and treating patients with disabilities, injuries, and illnesses through various therapeutic techniques, modalities, and exercises. You will also provide education and consulting services to enhance patient understanding and compliance. Adhering to all regulatory, professional, and ethical standards is essential, as is maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering patient care through thorough evaluations and tailored treatment plans Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient care Conducting educational in-services for staff and healthcare providers Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide professional recommendations Participating in care coordination activities Promoting the department and profession within the community Performing additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications

Requirements

A degree from an accredited program in physical therapy (baccalaureate, Masters, or Doctorate)

Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the State of ND

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy

Valid CPR certification

Current ND Driver's license

Preferred

Experience in community or home health settings
