Position Details

We are in search of a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a part of our vibrant finance team. This role is essential for our organization as you will oversee the complete receivables process, which encompasses invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid grasp of accounting principles.

You will collaborate closely with both our internal team and our clients, making excellent communication and customer service skills crucial.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accounts Receivable Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing all facets of accounts receivable, including invoice processing, collections, and account reconciliation.
  • Ensuring prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of customer payments.
  • Maintaining precise records of all accounts receivable transactions and generating monthly reports.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Working in tandem with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Netsuite or similar ERP systems to manage and analyze financial data.
  • Employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Specialist role or a similar position within the finance sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Netsuite or a comparable ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
