Position Overview:

The English Language Arts Instructor is tasked with developing educational resources for our curriculum and ensuring alignment with the Keystone Assessment Anchors. This role involves collaboration with grade-level teams to support school-wide initiatives aimed at achieving the institution's objectives for student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design a curriculum framework that aligns with the Keystone Assessment Anchors.
  • Develop weekly lesson plans that adhere to state standards and current curriculum in partnership with American Paradigm Schools.
  • Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Engage with team members regarding school-wide and grade-level expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with families about student progress.
  • Collaborate with ESL and special education instructors.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with students.
  • Participate in after-school events as necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
