Position Overview:

Learn It Academic Services is a prominent educational organization dedicated to fostering the success of all students in their academic and personal lives. Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking Pennsylvania Certified Teachers with an English Language Learner certification to join our K-12 educational team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals focused on delivering outstanding learning experiences for children. Potential roles may include specialized areas such as art, music, physical education, health, family & consumer sciences, and technology education. We also welcome applications from certified special educators, ESL instructors, and specialists in reading and mathematics.

As a member of our educational team, you will work alongside a supervisor and fellow educators, engaging with a diverse student population both virtually and in-person. This team collaborates with various educational partners to provide high-quality educational services.

Essential Duties:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with school administrators, classroom teachers, and parents.
  • Planning and delivering effective instructional strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Implementing effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Participating in staff meetings and completing administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Work Schedule:

Teachers in this role will serve various educational institutions throughout the region and will typically work Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on school requirements.

Compensation:

The hourly pay rate ranges from $38 to $40, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Primary or Secondary teaching certificate.
  • Preferred classroom teaching experience.
  • Required certification in English Language Learning or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various educational technology platforms is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Capability to navigate stairs in school buildings during in-person sessions.
  • Frequent standing and ability to raise arms overhead during instructional activities.
  • Reliable transportation and internet access, along with a personal computer equipped with updated software and a webcam.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Zoom/Meets, and other educational technology platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
