Position Overview:

The English Literature Educator is tasked with developing instructional materials that align with educational standards and assessments. This role involves collaboration with fellow educators to support school-wide initiatives aimed at achieving the institution's objectives for student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design a comprehensive curriculum framework that aligns with educational assessment standards.
  • Develop weekly instructional plans that adhere to state educational standards and current curriculum guidelines.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner.
  • Engage in regular communication with team members regarding academic expectations.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate with ESL and special education instructors.
  • Foster and sustain positive relationships with students.
  • Participate in after-school events as necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
