Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client intake and provide orientation to new arrivals, ensuring they understand the services available to them.
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans, focusing on securing stable housing and addressing clients' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including volunteers, service agencies, and professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, tracking client progress and services provided.
  • Perform a range of shelter-related duties, including meal distribution, supply management, and enforcing safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Hispanic/Latino families, refugees, immigrants, and/or other migrants (preferred).
  • Knowledge of community resources and providers that support migrant families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
