Job Summary

Location: 3800 Gaylord Parkway, Suite 910, Frisco, 75034

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8-5 pm

Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, you will support doctors by providing patient care and performing delegated medical tasks. Your duties will include:

  • Helping with examining and treating patients under a physician's guidance
  • Preparing exam rooms, cleaning before and after procedures, disinfecting equipment, and restocking supplies
  • Talking to patients and helping them to the exam room and getting them ready
  • Collecting data, including medical history and vital signs
  • Monitoring vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Helping patients prepare for medical procedures, tests, and x-rays
  • Conducting patient assessments, processing electrocardiograms, and collecting blood and urine samples during testing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of medical terminology
  • The ability to accurately document patient details in line with organizational guidelines
  • An understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality regulations
  • The capability to identify and report any signs of physical distress in patients to the healthcare staff
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
