Nursing Director for Patient Care Excellence

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Director to lead our efforts in achieving patient care excellence. As a key member of our nursing administration team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and experience in managing complex patient care teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices that promote high-quality patient care. Your expertise will also be essential in mentoring and coaching staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient care strategies that drive improved outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Lead and manage complex patient care teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among staff
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in delivering exceptional patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that promote high-quality patient care
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a hospital setting
- A strong background in patient care and quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
As a Nursing Director at Penn State Health, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
