Job Overview

This role requires a dynamic individual with strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a dedication to continuous process improvement.

The RN Clinical Staff Leader will be actively involved in clinical care delivery while assuming leadership responsibilities to support the achievement of optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Update Smart Square scheduling system as needed
  • Participate in unit and/or hospital-based committees to contribute to organizational initiatives
  • Report compliance issues and operational needs to Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager
  • Follow up on audits and provide support to individuals requiring improvement
  • Conduct crucial conversations and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as necessary
  • Share audit trends and best practices during huddles and shared governance meetings
  • Assist Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/Educator with competencies or interview processes as needed
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required
  • Two (2) years related experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
