Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seasonal Special Events Coordinator to join our team at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating the operation of all Special Events or Leisure Experience activities, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating the operation of all Special Events or Leisure Experience activities, including checking the status of operation, lighting, AV, cleanliness, and system operation.
  • Follow through with training guidelines to support the direction of Special Events Manager and Assistant Managers.
  • Monitor and assist with training for all Special Events employees.
  • Learn and operate software systems used in events, such as ticketing, retail, inventory, space usage, and financial management.
  • Resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
