We are a reputable company seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated at $20 - $26 per hour, with the possibility of negotiation if you hold a certification in the field. Additionally, we offer competitive benefits packages that include contributions to medical and dental group plans.

Job Description

This role involves troubleshooting work orders via phone or in-person, inspecting and diagnosing electrical issues, repairing and replacing outlets, lighting, and other electric devices, installing, maintaining, and repairing AC and DC electrical wiring systems, and performing installation, maintenance, and repair on fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot work orders over the phone or in-person.
  • Inspect and diagnose electrical issues.
  • Repair and replace outlets, lighting, and other electric devices.
  • Install, maintain, and repair AC and DC electrical wiring systems.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair on fixtures.
  • If licensed, inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair breaker boxes and electrical panels.
  • Depending on the nature of work performed, the incumbent may be required to wear a respirator or self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
  • Keep accurate time and detailed records of work performed at each location.
  • Communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other maintenance technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri.
  • At least one year of actual work experience and training in the trade (Electrician or Journeyman's License preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Skill in maintenance and use of tools, equipment, and materials of applicable trade.
  • Ability on a daily basis to grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and otherwise use small to large trades tools and equipment.
  • Grasp, lift, carry, and set down heavy objects (50-80 lbs.).
  • Visually assess maintenance, construction, and repair needs.
