At Horning Management Company, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in general maintenance and repair work.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance responsibilities, including the ability to identify electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures. HVAC certification is preferred, and knowledge of Yardi and Nexus systems would be beneficial.

This role requires the ability to lift 25-50lbs and perform tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical installations, and carpentry work. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to foster positive relationships with residents.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional growth and development. We value our employees and strive to create a fun and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure all properties are well-maintained
  • Perform repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to resident requests

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 3 years of experience in general maintenance or related field
  • Ability to lift 25-50lbs and perform physical tasks as required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
