Job Title: Automotive Maintenance Technician

$65,000 - $90,000 per year

This is a challenging role requiring skilled vehicle maintenance and repair. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and installing automotive/diesel engines, transmissions, large and small electric/pneumatic/hydraulic components, chassis, and vehicle body repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex maintenance work on public transit vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Conduct technical diagnostics and analyze problems to identify solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and submit reports as required.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certifications in multiple areas (Transit Bus, Automotive, Medium/Heavy Truck, or School Bus).
  • Clean driving record and valid CDL permit from the jurisdiction of residence.
