Job Summary

The Account Specialist I will assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients.
  • Works as part of a client service team, in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Works with Account Executives and brokers to address client requests and needs throughout the year in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for day-to-day servicing of complex portfolio of clients, ranging in size and industry.
  • Proactively coordinates renewal cycle to ensure all vital steps are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Actively supports and monitors the renewal process.
  • Serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
  • Primary collaborator with Aon accounting team on client invoicing and collections.
  • Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
  • Receives and runs routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
  • Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
  • Understands best practices and leverages available resources, including centers of excellence (COEs) and ACS.
  • Becomes conversant with insurance policy terms and conditions specific to the lines of insurance being serviced.
Requirements
  • Some commercial insurance experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain P&C license within 120 days.
  • Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
