Job Summary

ZSG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production and auxiliary support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot Complex Mechanical Systems: Utilize your technical expertise to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Maintain Production and Auxiliary Support Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
  • Work Safely in a High-Stress Environment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of others, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Coachable and Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, with a positive and proactive attitude towards challenges and opportunities.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Roll Mill Experience: Prior experience working in a roll mill environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Mobile Equipment Operation: Ability to operate mobile equipment, including overhead cranes, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programs, CMMS systems, drawing databases, and other technical tools, with a strong understanding of electrical theory and mechanical systems.
  • Design and Drawing Skills: Ability to design and draw in Solid Works, Master Cam, and Auto Cad, with a strong understanding of mechanical theory and its application.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of mechanical theory, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, and other technical areas, with the ability to apply this knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
