Position Overview:
CGS is accepting applications for multiple IT Service Desk Analyst positions on-site, available as a long-term contract with the potential for permanent employment. This role will deliver daily technological support to end-users across the organization. Under the guidance of the Help Desk Manager, this position will offer technical IT assistance on all computing (hardware and software) and peripheral devices to ensure that end users can operate effectively with minimal interruptions or downtime due to technical issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows 2007/2008/2010/0365)
- Understanding of data networking and communication tools and software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Familiarity with custom applications, active directory, and ticketing systems
Responsibilities and Skills:
The primary duty of the IT Service Desk Analyst is to provide technical support and training on software and hardware to internal users, primarily through incoming phone inquiries.
- Assist internal clients with software and hardware inquiries and issues.
- Set up and maintain hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, etc.
- Deliver training and documentation for standard and custom applications.
- Support various projects and tasks as assigned.
- Ensure network security and manage user account creation and administration.
- Assist network operations in sustaining network connectivity.
