Emergency Medical Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Dorchester County Government. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health, prescription, and vision insurance, as well as 24/72 schedule and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need
- Work collaboratively with other emergency responders to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and current certifications as a Paramedic
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
