  • Lead incident response initiatives for security breaches or vulnerabilities, coordinating with other teams to manage and resolve issues proficiently.
  • Conduct regular security evaluations, including penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, to identify and address potential threats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with IT, operations, and other departments to ensure security solutions are seamlessly integrated into the organization’s technology ecosystem.
  • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and industry experts to leverage additional expertise and resources.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present regular updates on security status, incidents, and enhancements to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior security engineering role, with a proven record of successful leadership and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and encryption.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, incident response, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically and act decisively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with global security operations and managing security teams across multiple regions.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies.
  • Familiarity with advanced security threats and emerging technologies.
