We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Americold Logistics. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Loss Prevention Supervisor and contributing to the overall security and integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support and assist the Loss Prevention Supervisor in identifying and mitigating potential security risks and losses within the Distribution Center.
- Conduct regular observations of daily routine activities to identify unusual situations and report them to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.
- Review CCTV and Access system footage to detect and document evidence of theft, mishandling of company property, and other security violations.
- Conduct physical security checks and security tours of the building and trailer yard to identify unsafe acts and weaknesses in the program.
- Develop and implement loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs for all associates and management staff.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently followed and report any unsafe conditions or acts to the appropriate personnel.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to self-motivate and follow through on tasks, and to be flexible in job duties.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to de-escalate situations when they arise.
