Manufacturing Team Leader (2nd Shift)

We are actively seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Team Leader to join our workforce full-time, supporting a diverse range of clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee staffing, management, guidance, training, and assessment of a designated production team.
- Direct and manage multiple manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties:

- Ensure all manufacturing processes are executed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Identify and resolve any challenges related to equipment or personnel.
- Propose and implement enhancements to formulas, equipment, and engineering processes.
- Maintain effective communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to meet production timelines.
- Coordinate the publication of process condition setup documents; update these conditions and manage the process conditions database.
- Generate all necessary shop floor documentation for production orders.
- Facilitate and oversee training for new hires and ongoing development for existing associates.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent production output while upholding quality standards.
- Optimize staffing through effective vacation planning and coverage arrangements.
- Minimize product loss and scrap production.
- Conduct performance evaluations for production associates, providing clear feedback on objectives and expectations.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into SAP.
- Maintain production supply inventories and notify purchasing associates when restocking is necessary.
- Review and correct timekeeping records for production associates.
- Address attendance issues in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with fellow Manufacturing Team Leaders to ensure smooth shift transitions and adequate staffing.
- Maintain plant production areas in a state of readiness according to housekeeping standards.
- Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 7 years of leadership experience.
