Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Team Lead to join our team in New Kensington, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of assembly technicians and ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of assembly technicians to ensure the efficient and effective production of products
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production personnel to support and align both teams
  • Install and assemble various components, sub-assemblies, and hardware by following written and electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Maintain inventory of components, hardware, and other necessary department items
  • Organize assembly area and maintain assembly equipment and tooling
  • Contribute ideas and subject matter expertise to the continuous improvement of both the process and documentation
  • Communicate with management, team leads, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality and process issues
  • Complete legibly all reports and other associated paperwork

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associates degree in electronics, assembly, or related field preferred (experience is an acceptable substitute for a degree)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing/industrial setting leadership experience
  • Can provide direction, support (hands-on), and any additional help to ensure team and success
  • Can read a basic drawing and work instructions
  • Demonstrates in-process inspection competence
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
  • Has both mechanical and technical capacity
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Honest and timely communication
  • Self-motivation and positive attitude
  • Integrity and safety
