- Position: Manufacturing Operations Leader
- Location: Greater New Orleans area
- Salary: $110,000-$135,000
Overview:
A prominent shipbuilding organization is in search of a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Leader to become part of their advanced facility in coastal Louisiana. In this capacity, you will oversee all operational facets of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee that projects are executed safely and effectively
- Supervise product quality
- Collaborate with other department leaders as necessary to establish a work order system
- Educate staff on operational procedures and ISO management frameworks
- Work closely with supervisory personnel to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved
- Track and analyze KPIs
- Manage the Operations budget
- Conduct Contract Performance Analysis for all initiatives
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in the marine manufacturing sector
- Management experience in the marine field is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline is preferred
- Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles
- Six Sigma / LEAN manufacturing certifications are advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
