Role Description:

We are currently seeking an Electronics Repair Specialist to become a vital part of our Service Repair Department.

Location: On-Site

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Group Leader, Hardware

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electronic principles and design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to follow intricate instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, install, and evaluate POS products and peripherals through physical inspections and detailed instructions to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Execute diagnostic programs and troubleshoot internal component failures.
  • Conduct diagnostics on circuit boards, solder components with precision, test board functions, and perform light assembly tasks.
  • Identify material or replacement needs and develop a logical approach to repairs.
  • Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and equipment for all serviced electronic products.
  • Report any potentially hazardous electrical equipment to a supervisor and take necessary actions.
  • Develop and maintain records related to electronic and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and utilize appropriate materials throughout electrical systems.

  • Final Video Interview with the Team

Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $45,000 to $52,000 USD per year, depending on various factors.
