Job Title: Nurse Specialist Job Specialty: PreOp/ENDO Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required with one prior travel assignment License: Must have DC license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Flu vaccine required with no exemptions Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a PreOp/ENDO setting with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Provide inpatient care with skills preferred in Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, and ambulatory/outpatient settings.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Required to float per competency within the GI Suite.
- Care for both pediatric and adult patient age groups.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule: 7:30-18:00/8:00-18:30 with late coverages until 20:30.
- Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable.
- Completion of modules pre-start and potentially during orientation, which can vary by specialty.
- Orientation totals 28 hours at 50% non-billable.
- Availability for relocation within a 60-mile radius of the job posting is preferred.
