Job Summary
The Front Office Representative serves as the last point of contact for patients in the office, responsible for check-out duties, including entering charges, collecting deductibles and co-insurances, posting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments. This role also assists with answering the telephone, registering new patients, and making appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-tasking and maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy
- Communicating proactively and assisting patients with questions and requests
- Working closely with others and functioning as a team member
- Data entry experience and ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize work
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of related experience
- Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures
Shift Description
M-F 7:30/8:00, 5:00/5:30 or last patient
