Functions

Area of Responsibilities

  • Performs effectively and efficiently as a staff pharmacist, including all competencies and expectations, when needed.
  • Maintains competence required for the position. Maintains current pharmacist licensure. Attends appropriate meetings, sustains professional competence and promotes development through participation in in-services, workshops, seminars, and professional organizations.
  • Acts as liaison between the Pharmacy Division and both Willow Analytics and Clinical Engineering.
  • Assumes oversight for all Epic and Rx30 Optimization projects.
  • Assumes ownership of formulary review and leads the Medication Standardization Committee.
  • Is responsible for ensuring completion of annual pharmacy policy review.
  • Supports all members of the Pharmacy Leadership team with data management expertise.
Compliance Statement
  • Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy Degree

Experience: Five years of related experience. Requires a broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
