Transforming Healthcare, One Encounter at a Time
The Medical Scribe role in our Cardiology department is a critical part of our team's success. As a Medical Scribe, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our physicians to accurately document patient encounters, freeing up time for them to focus on providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany physicians into patient examination rooms to transcribe patient history, physical exam findings, and document encounters.
- Enter diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions as dictated and signed by physicians.
- Prepare plans for follow-up care and provide advanced support to physicians, including documenting phone calls and scanning external medical records.
- Travel with physicians to outlying clinics as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No previous experience required, but 6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred.
- Medical scribe certification is preferred.
