Job Overview

Mobis North America, a leader in automotive advancements, is seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance its operations. This role is pivotal in engaging with clients and conducting preliminary investigations into quality concerns within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze root causes and propose sustainable corrective measures for product quality challenges.

2. Collaborate with internal teams to elevate customer satisfaction through enhanced product quality.

3. Maintain and update the Mobis Quality Management System (QMS) with relevant incidents, resolutions, and enhancements.

4. Generate detailed reports on product malfunctions and the corresponding corrective actions taken.

5. Establish and monitor quality assurance objectives.

6. Work alongside various departments to meet defined quality goals.

7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and boosting overall plant quality performance metrics.

8. Track and analyze customer quality ratings and scores.

9. Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

1. Strong ability to address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

2. Maintain and enhance the Quality Index scorecard.

3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive quality assurance.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel within the USA, and to Mexico and Asia as necessary.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred due to frequent interactions with Mobis headquarters and Korean suppliers.
