Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ThermoAnalytics. As a member of our development team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and leading the product development of our best-in-class computer aided engineering (CAE) and computational fluid design (CFD) simulation software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and debug computer code (C++ preferred)
  • Develop and maintain testing processes and tools on both Linux and Windows platforms
  • Create and implement tools to automate the testing process
  • Write and execute user-level tests (acceptance, exploratory, UI, performance, stress)
  • Validate customer-reported defects and document defects identified by internal testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related software programming field
  • 2 years' software development experience
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development cycle (modern source control, build and packaging, unit/system/integration testing)
  • Ability to collaborate well with technical and non-technical staff members
