Job Title: Home Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Care Coordinator to join our team at Rightway Home Care Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a passion for supporting disabled adults in achieving their independence.

The Home Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing new clients and staffing needs for our IHS program, training employees, and communicating with the team as needed. Key duties include:

  • Handling 245D paperwork for intakes, meetings, and client files.
  • Completing onboarding, shadowing, and training of new hires.
  • Training staff on 245D compliance and policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with clients' needs and supports if staff is unable.
  • Managing monthly Mandatory meetings with staff and Coordinator.
  • Monitoring and tracking staff hours.
  • Regular file auditing of case notes, goal tracking, client files, and staff files for compliance.
  • Tracking and auditing paperwork for meetings with clients and staff.
  • Communicating clearly to the client, their team, and your supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Reporting to IHS Coordinator with staffing needs.
  • Maintaining Professionalism and Confidentiality for all clients.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Able to multi-task when asked. Follow directions as instructed.
  • Responsible to complete tasks and follow up when needed.

  • Business casual attire.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Minimal respectful use of cell phone during office hours.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination is required with proof.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel for Intake Meetings.
  • Travel to clients' residences if needed.
  • Maintain valid driver's license and insurance.
  • No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Suspended license, etc.).

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to pass a DHS background study.
  • Reliable transportation.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Direct Support: 1 year and/or
  • ILS/IHS: 1 year
  • 245D experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
