Senior Solutions Architect for Back Office Operations

The Senior Solutions Architect for Back Office Operations is essential in driving efficiencies across our Back Office functions, including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Real Estate, and Legal. This role is pivotal in collaborating with Back Office leadership to strategically enhance and elevate the maturity of our operational capabilities.

In this position, you will spearhead initiatives to shape the technological framework of various back-office domains. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and maintenance of architectural solutions that cater to multiple stakeholder teams.

Qualifications for the Role

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 or more years in high-level support of Back Office Systems (ERP, HRIS).
  • At least 6 years of progressive IT experience, with a focus of 4 years on systems architecture (Solutions, Enterprise) and management.
  • A proven history of designing and implementing intricate solutions ecosystems within back office and/or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding and compliance with system security protocols (PCI, CCPA, etc.) in partnership with the IT Security team.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and customer service skills; detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Competence in processing information, including gathering, interpreting, assessing, organizing, and verifying data, along with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to effectively research, analyze, and evaluate information to make informed decisions, solve problems, and achieve objectives.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools for automating deployment pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the aptitude to address issues within back-office architecture and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and lead initiatives through influence.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality deliverables within set timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT team members, promoting best practices in solutions architecture.
  • Experience with both waterfall and Agile/iterative IT delivery methodologies is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Food and Beverage industry is advantageous.
  • Experience as an Enterprise Architect is preferred.

Key Result Areas

  • Lead the design of data architecture, considering the current and future business capability needs of stakeholder teams, while adhering to industry best practices. Advance back office technologies to ensure scalability, performance, continuous improvement, and security.
  • Design and enhance integration processes for back-office systems to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Assess new and emerging technologies in the back office solutions domain, evaluating their suitability for our organizational needs. Provide recommendations on tools, platforms, and frameworks to adopt, considering functionality, cost, and interoperability.
  • Conduct regular assessments of back office system architectures and collaborate with business teams to continually enhance the capabilities supporting our stakeholders.
