Role Summary:

HCA North Texas Division is looking for a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant to enhance their esteemed team. This position focuses on advanced reconstruction techniques for joints affected by prior surgical interventions, emphasizing limb preservation.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Master's Program
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandatory
  • Possession of a valid Texas License
  • Prior experience is advantageous, though motivated individuals without experience will receive guidance
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a positive demeanor are essential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday
  • This position entails both first assisting in the operating room and patient care in a clinical setting
  • Ability to frequently handle instruments weighing up to 20lbs in the operating room
  • Develop treatment plans and document patient interactions using Meditech EMR and Centricity Clinic EMR
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
  • Evaluate and execute patient care strategies based on collected data, working independently with physician oversight as needed
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise records of patient interactions, whether in person or via phone
